linked to the symbol and grade obtained by the
student in the grade 12 examination. The student's symbols per
subject are maintained on {SREGB-9} and the grade 12 subjects linked
to their grades on {SCODE-5}. The total SRS score of the student is
calculated by the system when this criteria is used. |
AAAA11 |
WRS Scores |
(Num) |
The
WRS factor tables are maintained on {SCODE-6}. These factor
tables are then linked to the different qualification codes on {SACADO-1} and the WRS scores can then be calculated on {SNAPPA-1}. These scores are used for this criteria. |
AAAA12 |
Average Percentage |
(Num) |
The
subject results for the maximum registration year and normal exams for the student
are taken into account. These results can be queried on {FBLO1-2}.
The cumulative final result of the student's subjects are divided by
the number of subjects registered for. If the result of an exam were
to lead to another exam e.g. supplementary exam, that exam result will
then be taken into account and not the original exam result. |
AAAA13 |
Average for Qualification |
(Num) |
The
cumulative final result (all years of registration for the current
qualification) of all subjects (primary qualifications only), up to the
maximum exam month of the student, is divided by the number of subjects
taken. The student’s results can be queried on {FBLO1-2}. |

registered on {SREGAR-1}. The year and block code of registration
must match the year and block code of the bursary. |
AAAA16 |
Subjects
Passed as Percentage of Subjects Registered |
(Num) |
The subject results
of the student for the maximum year of normal exams are taken into
account. These results can be queried on {FBLO1-2}. The total
subjects passed for the year are divided by the total number of
subjects registered for and then multiplied by 100. If the result of
an exam were to lead to another exam e.g. supplementary exam, that exam
result will then be taken into account and not the original exam result. |
AAAA17 |
Valid Qualifications |
(Char) |
Valid qualifications per bursary / loan are maintained on {FBLC-3}. |
AAAA18 |
Family Income per Member |

Family
income and the number of family members are maintained on
{FBLN-6}. The family income is divided by the number of family
members to obtain income per member. |
AAAA19 |

|
If
the combination of student number / bursary / category exists for the
selected bursary, and the paid amount is greater than zero, this
criteria will be valid provided that the year and block of the existing
record differs from the year and block now being matched.
|
AAAA20 |
No Prev Disciplinary or Blocking Codes |
|
Disciplinary and blocking codes are maintained on {SREGL-1}, {SREGL-2}, {SREGL-3} and {FSAO-12}. |
AAAA21 |

This
result code is maintained on {SSTUD7-4}. This criterion uses the
“average percentage calculation” year for the primary qualification
only.
|
AAAA22 |
Financial Need |
(Num) |
The following formula is applied for this criteria:
Family members x 1000 x criteria weight x 100
Family income 1
Family income and family members are maintained on {FBLO-4}. The criteria
weight to be used in this formula should typically be the consumer
price index (CPI) value.

registered. The year and block code must match the year and block code

for the primary qualification this is interpreted as a (F)irst time
entry (new student to the institution). Other statuses are (T)ransfer
students (transferred from other institutions), (E)ntry students
(registering for a new qualification at the institution), (N)on entry

The
subject results of the student for normal exams in the maximum exam
block, are taken into account. These results can be queried on
{FBLO1-2}. The cumulative final results of the student's subjects,

were to lead to another exam e.g. supplementary, that exam result will
then be taken into account and not the original subject result. |
AAAA27 |

block are taken into account. These results can be queried on
{FBLO1-2}. The total subjects passed for the block are divided by
the total number of subjects registered for and then multiplied by
100. If a subject result were to lead to another exam e.g.
supplementary, that exam result will then be taken into account and not
the original subject result. |
