Personnel Web Maintenance {P00003-2}


This option allows a person to correct or update biographical and other personal  information.


The availability of the options may be set up in the business process driver {PWEBM-1,2}. The second method of de-activating the option is to take away select privileges in {USERS-2}.

The e-mail address is crucial to the effective use of the web system and everyone should ensure that this is correct at first log in.

For employees who do not have access to e-mail, it is possible to set up a generic, departmental e-mail address, e.g. grounds@its.ac.za, and insert this in the employee’s biographical record.

A Personal Information Survey, used on a yearly basis to review and confirm the correctness of personnal details used for Stats reporting.
